The FAS provides science-based analysis of and solutions to protect against catastrophic threats to national and international security.

The ISSA is a community for international cybersecurity professionals dedicated to advancing growth and managing technology risks, protecting critical information and infrastructure. 

The IACR is a non-profit scientific organization whose purpose is to further research in cryptology and related fields. 

The ISA was founded in collaboration with Carnegie Mellon University. Membership is open to public and private members and has substantial participation from aviation, banking, communications, defense, education, financial services, health care, insurance, manufacturing, security, and technology industries. 

The RAND Corporation is a research organization that is works to improve policy and decision making through research analysis.  RAND's research areas include terrorism, counterterrorism, counterinsurgency, disaster management, and homeland security.
