The New Orleans City Park is home to some of the oldest live oaks in the world. These are 2 of the trees that I laid eyes on the first time I visited the park, and I was thoroughly impressed by their size. I've been back to the park numerous times since, and I'm always happy to see them.
I love my front tree, but this is the tree that moves with me so it has a special place in my heart. It may occasionally serve as a Christmas Tree!
This large water oak really anchors our backyard. Along with the squirrels and the birds, we all love it and enjoy its beauty and shade!
