I'm a huge fan of Impressionism. Monet's Sunrise is just a well-known example of this art type, and Monet is one of my favorites. I really enjoy this art style because it's arguably a type of realism, which I also enjoy.
I love Modernist art from the late 19th and early 20th centuries. The Museu Nacional d'Art de Catalunya in Barcelona has some of the most beautiful pieces from this era. It is hard to choose just one but the building itself is a piece of art as well. It is my favorite museum I have ever been to! :)
This was a tough one. I have many favorite museums and art pieces, but Chicago holds a special place in my heart.
