December 8 is National Brownie Day and December 9 is National Pastry Day. It's the perfect time of year for some yummy baked goods! What is your favorite brownie or pastry? Share a photo, a recipe, or both!
I do not scoff at any yummy pastries and brownies. I love a good dark chocolate brownie, a homemade croissant, or even a chocolate brioche. However, I have taken to loving scones in recent years, and recently I had an apple scone that was to die for. I don't have a recipe for the exact one, but I would love to have it again.
I love a classic fudgy brownie, preferably with walnuts and chocolate chips/chunks.
As for pastries, I don't discriminate :) but some of my favorites are fruit Danishes, cinnamon rolls, and almond croissants.
I love Krispy Kreme's chocolate covered cream-filled donuts, and pretty much all other pastries! They're definitely my weakness. :-)
I really like a good cakey brownie. I prefer mine with no nuts and sometimes a small scoop of vanilla ice cream.
