Fire Protection Engineering is the technical periodical published quarterly by the Society of Fire Protection Engineers. 

The FCSN provides assistance and one-one-one mentoring to cancer-stricken firefighters and their families and promotes firefighter cancer awareness and prevention training nationwide. The “Resources” section includes a library with various articles and studies as well as links to other helpful web resources.

The IAAI is an international professional association of more than 10,000 fire investigation professionals, united by a strong commitment to suppress the crime of arson through professional fire investigation. 

This organization focuses on preventing fires and easing the severity of the effects of fires by providing a forum for presenting research.  

Established in 1896, the NFPA exists to prevent fires and protect citizens worldwide from fires and other hazards by "providing and advocating consensus codes and standards, research, training, and education."   Click here to access the NFPA codes. The CSU Library has full-text access to the NFPA Journal in the library databases.

This health and wellness alliance resource provides fire departments with information to help mitigate risks and the resources for solutions and problem solving. The Science Alliance also offers training and access to research current peer-reviewed articles from field experts and fire service leaders.
