I grew up in a rural area of Southeastern Ohio. In adulthood, I moved around the tri-state area for college. I earned a BA in History and Sociology at Marshall University in West Virginia, an MA in International Studies at Ohio University, and a MSLS in Library and Information Science from University of Kentucky. My husband and I live in Lexington, KY. We like to travel when we’re able. I spent my early professional life working at nonprofits. When I had the opportunity to earn my library science degree at UK I was ecstatic because librarianship was a dream job for me. I worked for the main library on campus in the reference department and enjoyed it greatly. I joined CSU in fall of 2024.
