Creating a Search Alert in the ScienceDirect Database

1. Upon accessing the ScienceDirect database, create an account, or sign into your account if you already have one.

2. Perform your search, and click "Set search alert."

3. Name your alert and set its frequency in the form that appears. Click "Save" to save the alert.

To edit or cancel your alert, ensure you are signed into your ScienceDirect account, click on your name, and then click on "Manage Alerts."
