Q: Are past CSU dissertations available in the library?

A: Abstracts of CSU dissertations are accessible via the CSU Library here; some of these abstracts include links to full dissertations. If the dissertation abstract you are looking for is not featured, please contact the director for CSU's Doctoral programs, Dr. Darlene Jaffke, for more information.

Q: Where is the Doctoral Writing and Research Center (DWRC) located?

A: The Doctoral Writing and Research Center is located under the Courses listing inside Blackboard.  To gain access, Doctoral students must be enrolled in the Doctoral Writing and Research Center at the appropriate time in their Doctoral Coursework.  To be enrolled in the Doctoral Writing and Research Center, please contact your academic advisor.

Q: Where in the library can I find the Dissertation Concept Paper/Prospectus example?

A: The Concept Paper/Prospectus example is not available in the library. Instead, it can be found in the Doctoral Writing and Research Center (DWRC) in Blackboard. To access the Prospectus, visit the DWRC. Go to the "Templates and Forms" section. Select the "Prospectus" option. Important: You must be enrolled in the DWRC at the appropriate stage in your doctoral coursework to access these materials. Need to enroll? Please reach out to your academic advisor to ensure you are enrolled at the right time.

Q: Where in the library can I find dissertations for my doctoral assignments?

A: Locate published dissertations in the Dissertations & Theses Global database and the OpenDissertations, found linked on the A-Z Databases list through the Databases box on the library homepage. View this video tutorial for help with searching in the database.
